Entablature V (Corlett 142)
"Entablature V" is a 1976 screenprint by Roy Lichtenstein that combines his characteristic pop art aesthetic with tactile experimental techniques, incorporating silver foil and embossing to create dimensional effects beyond traditional printmaking. This work is one of nine artist's proofs from an edition of 30, produced by the renowned Tyler Graphics Ltd., and exemplifies Lichtenstein's continued exploration of architectural and classical motifs reimagined through modern commercial printing methods. The large scale sheet, measuring approximately 29 by 44 7/8 inches on BFK Rives paper, demonstrates the artist's sophisticated engagement with the formal possibilities of the graphic arts medium.
