A monumental assemblage of industrial and utilitarian materials, Oscar Tuazon's *This work is unique.* brings together steel, shattered security glass, Plexiglas, plastic tarp, steel mesh, silicone, fiberglass, and tracing paper into a raw, architecturally charged structure. The work embodies Tuazon's signature approach to building as a form of resistance, where construction and destruction coexist in tension. Fractured surfaces and layered transparencies invite the viewer to consider vulnerability, shelter, and the precarious nature of the built environment.
