Queen Ntombi Twala of Swaziland, from Reigning Queens
Created in 1985, this vibrant screenprint is part of Warhol's celebrated *Reigning Queens* series, which paid homage to the four women holding royal titles at the time. True to his iconic Pop Art style, Warhol transforms the official portrait of Queen Ntombi Twala of Swaziland into a bold, graphic image through vivid, contrasting colors and flattened forms. This rare example, numbered 33/40 and signed in pencil, was published by George C. P. Mulder of Amsterdam, representing one of only forty prints in this prestigious limited edition.
