Circuit by Aaron Garber-Maikovska is an ink work rendered on fluted poly-board mounted on an aluminium frame, combining industrial materials with gestural mark-making. The corrugated surface of the poly-board introduces a rhythmic texture that interacts with the ink, allowing the medium to pool, resist, and flow in unpredictable ways. The result is a dynamic tension between the artist's spontaneous line work and the rigid, manufactured substrate beneath it.
