These two thangkas from the eighteenth to nineteenth century depict Vaishravana (the god of wealth) and Samantabhadra (the Bodhisattva of Universal Kindness) in Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Created with pigment on cloth, these religious artworks represent the sophisticated iconographic and artistic traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
