Zhu Ruzhen

Zhu Ruzhen was a Chinese literatus and author of the Ming Dynasty, best known for his satirical novel 'The Scholars' (Rulin Waishi). His work provided sharp social commentary on Chinese society and the examination system of his era. He is considered one of the greatest satirical writers in Chinese literature.
