Zenzaburo Kojima (1893, 1962) was a pioneering Japanese Western-style painter who studied under Kuroda Seiki and later in France, becoming a key figure in introducing Impressionist and Post-Impressionist influences to Japan. He was a founding member of the Dōkokai and later the Issui-kai artists' groups, playing a significant role in the development of modern Japanese oil painting (yōga). His works, characterized by vibrant color and lyrical brushwork, have appeared at major Japanese auction houses including Shinwa and Mallet.
