Yong Mun Sen

Yong Mun Sen (1896-1962) was a pioneering Malaysian artist who studied in Paris and is considered one of the founders of modern Malaysian art. He was known for his landscape paintings that blended Western techniques with Asian sensibilities, and he founded the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore.
