Works
Created minimalist paintings and participated in radical Gutai performances including walking through mud in high heels. Her restrained geometric abstractions contrasted with the movement's more explosive gestures. She exhibited continuously from the 1950s through 2019, with works in the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
