Sol Libsohn

Sol Libsohn (1914, 2001) was an American documentary photographer known for his humanist imagery capturing everyday life in New York City and beyond. A founding member of the Photo League in 1936, he dedicated his work to social documentary photography that highlighted working-class communities and urban existence. His images appeared in numerous publications and exhibitions, cementing his legacy as a key figure in mid-20th century American photography.
