Haerizadeh creates paintings, videos, and installations often working over found imagery including newspapers and video stills to create fantastical narratives about Iranian politics and society. His collaborative video works and large-scale paintings have been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Barbican, and MoMA PS1. He works in exile in Dubai, addressing censorship, power, and cultural memory through darkly humorous imagery.
