Perle Fine

Fine developed Abstract Expressionist paintings with dynamic compositions and later created shaped canvases and geometric abstractions. Despite being marginalized as a woman in the male-dominated movement, she exhibited at Betty Parsons Gallery. Her work is held by the Guggenheim and the Smithsonian.
