Michael Scoggins

Michael Scoggins is an American contemporary artist known for his large-scale drawings that mimic the aesthetic of spiral-bound notebook paper, complete with ruled lines, margin doodles, and adolescent-style handwriting enlarged to monumental proportions. His work explores themes of nostalgia, identity, anxiety, and the residual psychology of childhood and adolescence. Scoggins has exhibited widely and his works have appeared in major auction houses including Christie's and Phillips.
