Mel Kendrick

Creates abstract sculptures in wood and cast rubber exploring process, volume, and positive/negative space. He cuts wooden blocks, extracts sections, and reassembles them, or creates rubber casts from molds. His work is held by MoMA, Metropolitan Museum, and Whitney Museum.
