Marie Adrien Persac was a French-born American painter, cartographer, photographer, and art teacher active in the American South. He is best known for his detailed watercolor depictions of south Louisiana plantation houses and the Southern landscape, works that hold significant historical value for Southern historians. His pieces were often signed simply as A. Persac.
