Lee Kun Yong (born 1942) is a pioneering South Korean performance and conceptual artist widely regarded as a central figure in the Korean avant-garde movement Minjung and the broader development of Korean contemporary art. He is best known for his 'Bodyscape' series begun in the 1970s, in which he used his own body as both subject and medium, drawing lines and contours that traced the limits and extensions of physical movement. His work critically interrogates the relationship between body, space, action, and the boundaries of artistic convention.
