Kuncan was a Chinese Buddhist monk and painter of the Qing Dynasty, known for his literati painting style and innovative landscape compositions. He was one of the prominent painters of the early Qing period and taught at the Jie Chang Ge study in Jiangnan. His works combined Chan Buddhist philosophy with refined artistic technique.
