Kitagawa Utamaro II was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period who continued the artistic legacy of the celebrated Utamaro school. He worked primarily in woodblock printing, creating works in the styles of kabuki actors and beautiful women typical of the ukiyo-e tradition.
