Jules Leleu

Jules Leleu (1883, 1961) was a prominent French Art Deco furniture designer and decorator renowned for his elegant, luxurious interiors and refined cabinetmaking. He established his atelier in Paris and became celebrated for commissions aboard legendary ocean liners such as the Normandie, as well as prestigious private and diplomatic residences. His work is distinguished by the use of exotic woods, lacquer, and sumptuous upholstery reflecting the height of French decorative arts between the wars.
