John Ferneley Jr. (1815, 1862) was a British painter who followed in the footsteps of his renowned father, John Ferneley Sr., specializing in equestrian and sporting subjects. He worked primarily in the English Midlands tradition of horse painting, producing portraits of hunters, racehorses, and hunting scenes for aristocratic patrons. Though he never achieved the same fame as his father, his works regularly appear at auction and are valued by collectors of British sporting art.
