Jacob van Oost the Elder

Jacob van Oost the Elder (1603-1671) was a Flemish Baroque painter from Bruges known for his religious scenes, altarpieces, and historical compositions. He was a leading figure in Bruges' artistic community and his workshop produced numerous works for churches and wealthy patrons throughout Flanders.
