Huang Junbi, Boat by Lush Shore

Huang Junbi (1898, 1991) was a celebrated Chinese ink painter renowned for his mastery of traditional landscape painting, particularly dramatic depictions of mountains, waterfalls, and misty riverscapes. Born in Guangdong province, he studied under prominent masters and later became a leading figure in preserving classical Chinese painting traditions after relocating to Taiwan. His work seamlessly blended Song and Yuan dynasty techniques with his own expressive brushwork and poetic sensibility.
