Howard Helmick

Howard Helmick (1845, 1907) was an American genre painter known for his intimate domestic scenes and depictions of everyday life, particularly those set in England and Europe. He studied art in Paris and became associated with the realist tradition, producing works that captured the charm of rural and working-class life. His paintings were exhibited at the Royal Academy and attracted collectors on both sides of the Atlantic.
