Henri Hayden

Henri Hayden (1883, 1970) was a Polish-born French painter who became a significant figure in the School of Paris. Initially influenced by Cubism, he studied and worked alongside leading avant-garde artists in Paris, later developing a more lyrical, post-Cubist style characterized by warm colors, harmonious compositions, and subjects drawn from everyday life, landscapes, and still lifes. His work evolved through several phases, ultimately settling into a luminous, contemplative aesthetic that earned him widespread recognition in France and internationally.
