Franz Krajcberg

Franz Krajcberg was a Brazilian-German sculptor and environmental artist known for his abstract bronze works and his advocacy for rainforest conservation. Born in 1921 in Poland, he became a prominent figure in Brazilian modernism after settling in Brazil in the 1950s. His practice combined sculpture with environmental activism, particularly focused on the Amazon.
