Works

Bursztyn created kinetic sculptures from welded scrap metal and mechanical parts, producing works that addressed industrialization, consumerism, and gender. Her "Chatarras" and "Histéricas" series featured moving, clanging assemblages. She was the first Colombian woman to represent her country at the Venice Biennale and is celebrated at Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá.
