Edgar Cleijne

Edgar Cleijne is a Dutch artist and filmmaker who works primarily in video and film, often in close collaboration with fellow artist Ellen Gallagher. His work explores themes of mythology, identity, and the African diaspora, combining archival materials with cinematic techniques to create immersive, layered narratives. Cleijne's collaborative projects, particularly the multi-channel film installations made with Gallagher, have been exhibited at major international institutions and biennials.
