Dianna Frid is a Mexican-born, Canadian-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans textile, drawing, and installation, often exploring the intersection of language, literature, and material form. Her work frequently incorporates embroidery and stitching as conceptual tools to investigate memory, time, and the physicality of text. Frid has exhibited internationally and is also an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
