Charles Wautier (1609, 1703) was a Flemish Baroque painter celebrated for his intimate genre scenes, portraits, and religious compositions. He worked primarily in Brussels and was closely associated with his sister Michaelina Wautier, both achieving recognition at the court of Archduke Leopold Wilhelm. His refined technique and sensitivity to light place him among the distinguished Flemish masters of the seventeenth century.
