Adam Broomberg (born 1970, South Africa) and Oliver Chanarin (born 1971, UK) are a London-based collaborative duo whose practice spans photography, bookmaking, and installation, often interrogating the politics and ethics of image-making in conflict zones and archives. They are known for challenging documentary photography conventions, notably with works like 'War Primer 2' and their project 'Holy Bible,' which overlays war photography onto sacred text. Their work has been exhibited internationally and earned them the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize in 2013.
