Guy-Louis Vernansal (1648, 1729) was a French painter and tapestry designer who trained under Charles Le Brun and became a prominent figure in the decoration of Versailles and other royal projects. He was received into the Académie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture in 1704 and is particularly noted for his contributions to the Beauvais and Gobelins tapestry manufactories. Works attributed to him typically reflect the grand decorative style of the French Baroque court.
