Dirck van der Lisse (c. 1607, 1669) was a Dutch Golden Age painter known for his idyllic Arcadian landscapes populated with mythological figures, working in the tradition established by Cornelis van Poelenburch. He was active in The Hague and Utrecht, becoming a member of the Confrerie Pictura in The Hague in 1656. Works attributed to him often reflect the Italianate style absorbed by Dutch artists who traveled to Rome, featuring soft pastoral scenes with nymphs and classical themes.
