Anne Hardy

Anne Hardy is a British artist best known for her large-scale constructed photographic environments, which she builds entirely in her studio before photographing, creating uncanny, post-human spaces that suggest narrative and atmosphere without human presence. Her immersive installations and photographs explore themes of ecology, community, memory, and the relationship between humans and the natural world. Hardy represented Britain in the British Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017 as part of the collaborative project 'Clouds ⇄ Meteorites' and was appointed Artistic Director of Frieze London.
