Yan Tingju's 'Calligraphy couplet of Liu Changqing's poem in cursive script (草書劉長卿《尋盛禪師蘭若》詩聯)' is rendered in ink on patterned paper as a pair of hanging scrolls. This work demonstrates the integration of classical poetry and calligraphic art during the Ming Dynasty period.
