An exceptional set of four silver-gilt enamel sherbet cups with stands and spoons by the renowned Moscow master Khlebnikov, created between 1899-1908. The intricate pieces feature plique-à-jour, guilloché, and champlevé enamel techniques with colorful designs including coats of arms.

- each cup and saucer with its own colour scheme of blue, apple green, lime green, and red, each cup with plique-à-jour enamel rim and guilloché enamel interior, supported by three foliate and beaded arms rising from a hexagonal stem enamelled with coats of arms of St Petersburg, Novgorod and Moscow, raised on a tapering stem and domed circular foot, each circular stand with a plique-à-jour rim and alternating guilloché and champlevé enamel bands, each decorated with varicoloured cloisonné enamel stylised foliage and geometric motives, all with a similarly decorated champlevé enamel spoon with a twisted stem
