Louise Bourgeois 's  Be Calm  (from  Recueil des Secrets de Louise Bourgeois ) is a limited edition artwork published in 2005 as part of an intimate artist's book project. The edition combines a drypoint etching with selective wiping and an offset lithograph with embossing, uniting image and text within a finely crafted portfolio and book format. The work reflects Bourgeois's long-standing engagement with emotional states such as anxiety, vulnerability, and self-soothing.
