This ambitious 2020 project comprises six offset lithographs exploring multiple thematic and linguistic territories simultaneously. The extended subtitle references freedom, non-aggression, directionality, and even a monkey, creating a stream-of-consciousness narrative through visual repetition and variation. Printed on premium 200 gsm Munken Lynx paper, the work demonstrates Shrigley's attention to material quality despite conceptual rawness. The series format allows for meditation on themes across multiple plates and impressions. This work showcases how traditional offset lithography can serve contemporary multi-part conceptual investigations.
