Zak Ové is a British-Trinidadian multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and photographer whose work explores themes of diaspora, identity, memory, and the African and Caribbean experience. His practice spans sculpture, installation, photography, and film, often incorporating found objects, masks, and materials that reference African spiritual traditions and the legacies of colonialism. He is perhaps best known for his large-scale sculptural installations, including works featuring figures adorned with masks that draw on Yoruba and Afro-Caribbean cultural iconography.
