Yiannis Moralis

Yiannis Moralis (1916, 2009) was one of the most prominent Greek painters of the 20th century, known for his elegant, minimalist compositions that evolved from figurative work toward geometric abstraction. His style is characterized by refined linear forms, muted tonal palettes, and a poetic synthesis of classical Greek sensibility with modernist principles. He was a longtime professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he profoundly influenced generations of Greek artists.
