Wang Hui (1632-1717) was a prominent Chinese landscape painter of the Qing Dynasty, considered one of the Four Great Masters of the Late Ming and Early Qing periods. He was known for his monumental landscape paintings and his ability to synthesize various classical Chinese painting traditions. His work profoundly influenced Chinese painting and he remains one of the most celebrated artists in Chinese art history.
