Tiona Nekkia McClodden is a Philadelphia-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans video, sound, sculpture, and installation, with a focus on Black subjectivity, queer identity, and the archive. Her work often investigates the politics of visibility, desire, and music, drawing on figures such as Sun Ra and the legacy of Black experimental culture. She has exhibited at major institutions including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, and was a recipient of the prestigious Herb Alpert Award in the Arts.
