Simryn Gill works across photography, sculpture, and installation exploring postcolonial identity, language, and environmental transformation through subtle interventions. Her projects include 'Forest' (1996-1998), where she boiled books to make paper, and 'A Small Town at the Turn of the Century' documenting urban change. She represented Australia at the 2013 Venice Biennale and her work is held internationally.
