Ronald Bladen
American(1918–1988)
Ronald Bladen was a sculptor who created monumental geometric forms in wood and metal that emphasized scale and spatial presence. His breakthrough work "The X" (1967) exemplified his approach to sculpture as architectural intervention. He exhibited at the Jewish Museum's pivotal "Primary Structures" exhibition and is in major museum collections.
