Rafael Lozano-Hemmer creates interactive installations using robotics, computerized surveillance, and biometric technologies. Major public works include "Vectorial Elevation" (1999) in Mexico City and "Pulse Room" (2006), which uses heartbeats to control light bulbs. His work is held at MoMA, Tate, and the Hirshhorn.
