Rafael Ferrer

Ferrer works across sculpture, painting, and installation, initially associated with Process Art before developing vivid figurative paintings referencing Caribbean landscapes and culture. His leaf and ice installations at Whitney Museum and other venues pioneered ephemeral sculptural practices. His work is held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
