Ibeji statuettes are carved wooden figures created by the Yoruba people of Nigeria to commemorate twins. These sacred objects were traditionally dressed, fed, and cared for as spiritual representations of deceased twin children. They represent one of the most recognizable forms of Yoruba sculptural art.
