Paul Reed

Paul Reed was a painter who created hard-edged Color Field paintings using geometric forms and optical effects, associated with the Washington Color School. His disc paintings and stripe works explored systematic color relationships. His work is represented in the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Hirshhorn, and the Corcoran Gallery.
