Patricia Piccinini creates hyperrealistic silicone sculptures and installations exploring biotechnology, evolution, and human-animal hybrids. Her meticulously crafted creatures, such as 'The Young Family' (2002), blur boundaries between natural and artificial life while addressing bioethics. She represented Australia at the 2003 Venice Biennale and her work is held in major museums including MoMA and the Pompidou Centre.
