Mikhail Baryshnikov

Soviet and American ballet dancer and choreographer widely considered one of the greatest male ballet dancers of the 20th century. He defected from the Soviet Union in 1974 and went on to have a prestigious career with major ballet companies including American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet. Beyond dance, he has also worked in theater, film, and television.
