Michelle Stuart

Michelle Stuart is an artist known for earth-based works created by rubbing graphite and soil directly onto paper, connecting Minimalism to Land Art and ecofeminism. Her large-scale scrolls and site-specific projects have been exhibited at MoMA and the Whitney. She continues to create work exploring geological time and environmental concerns.
